Regional Marketing Director, African eTrade (AeTrade) Group
Dr. Peter M. Mwencha is the Regional Marketing Director, Sub-Sahara Africa, for the African eTrade Group, an African Diaspora-led social entrepreneurship initiative that is partnering with the African Union Commission (AUC) to fill crucial gaps in e-commerce and other information and communication technologies across the continent.
He has more than 10 years of wide-ranging experience as a business consultant, researcher and lecturer and boasts of extensive business development, management and policy-making experience at institutional, country and regional levels.
Dr. Mwencha has a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing Management) as well as a MBA (Marketing Management). He has published several research papers on e-commerce and regularly gives invited talks and presentations at various conferences, workshops and seminars.
He is a currently a member of the technical working group (TWG) for the development of Kenya’s Digital Economy Strategy.
