Michael Ilishebo

Governmmet - Zambia Police Service

Michael is a law enforcement officer working for Zambia Police Service. He is also a Cyber Security expert having studied Information Technology at The Copperbelt University (Zambia) and was a 2013 Cyber Security and ICT Policy Scholar at USTTI, Washington DC, USA.

He shares his knowledge as a facilitator for Cyber Crime course for Law Enforcement in Southern Africa under INTERPOL and the Southern African Region Police Chiefs Cooperation Organisation (SARPCCO). He is a 3 time ICANN Fellow and also an alumni of the 2nd African School on Internet Governance (2014) and a speaker at various Internet Governance platforms like RightsCON, Forum on Internet Fredom in Africa (FIFAfrica), Internet Freedom Forum, Africa IGF and the Global IGF. Currently, he is a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) at Internet Governance Forum (IGF) under Government Stakeholder group.
