Augustine K. Baffo is an Information Technology Professional with over 16 years of Technical, Planning and Managerial experience in ICT Systems and Organizations across different industries. He currently serves as the Deputy CEO at the Ghana Investment Funds for Electronic Communications where he is leading the efforts to fulfill the agency’s mandate of facilitating the provision of universal access to electronic communications, provision of internet point of presence, capacity building, promoting ICT inclusion and the deployment of ICT equipment to educational institutions in unserved and underserved communities around the country. Prior to this he worked as a Senior IT Consultant at Schlumberger Oil and Gas -Houston USA, where he led efforts to improve performance of the company’s Global Database and ERP systems.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, USA and extensive Executive and Technical training including Database and ERP System Administration, Enterprise Architecture Administration, PMP- Project Management Institute, ITIL – Service Management, E-Government, E-Learning Management Systems, and IT Governance.
