Amuriat Zavuga Goretti

Programmer Manager, Women of Uganda Network (WOUGNET)

Goretti Zavuga Amuriat is a Program Manager Gender and ICT Policy Advocacy at WOUGNET. She worked for over 15 years with civil society organizations in the areas ICT for development, women rights, governance and accountability, as well as in the areas of civic livelihoods and entrepreneurship. She is also at the fore front of advocating for gender sensitive ICT policies and programs in Uganda which are aimed at ensuring women rights online and offline are protected and is currently spearheading a Women ICT Advocacy Caucus (WIAG).
She is an Alumni of 2016, Africa School of Internet Governance, organized by Association for Progressive Communication (APC) in addition to being a Certified Trainer with International labor organization (ILO) in SIYB and GET a HEAD training material. She is an avid entrepreneur and farmer
